A space where Green meets Bank. ⁠

Green spaces, waterways, cycle paths, close to the river & close proximity to the City.

The property, built in 1990, is in 70 Wapping Lane and Wapping itself is a district in East London. It is in close proximity to the City but with a much quieter atmosphere, giving the impression of being an area of tranquility away from the hustle and bustle. Wapping itself is a district, in East London, in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets and uniquely has it own postcode area E1W, which covers the entire area. It is situated between the north bank of the River Thames and the ancient thoroughfare simply called The Highway, between Tower Bridge and Limehouse. Wapping's proximity to the river has given it a strong maritime character, which it retains through its riverside public houses and steps, such as the Prospect of Whitby and Wapping Stairs. It is also home to St Katherine's Dock, Tobacco Dock, King Edward Memorial Park and Wapping Rose Garden. Also with several waterways, canals and cycle routes.

There is an abundance of green spaces; Wapping Gardens, Wapping Woods, Wapping Rose Garden, Kind Edward Memorial Park, Hermitage Riverside Memorial Garden. This is s great combination of Green and Water Bank, which has given the sense to the concept developed for this brand identity.

We designed it to visually project this emblematic space to modernity, whilst paying homage to Wapping's maritime character. The symbol of the asterisk marks the building as a place for reference, in which there is much to discover.
