Bar el Born keeps everything possible from an old codfish store located in the heart of Barcelona's old town.

Located in the centre of the Born neighborhood, it is a cultural symbol in the city and a meeting point for locals and tourists alike. Bar el Born is an establishment that honors traditions and its origins. Visiting the Bar is an experience, because they preserve the marble bar where the fish were formerly exhibited and also old photographs that were part of the history of the Born neighborhood and the bar.

The Brand Identity and its visual communication is developed as a reflection of the materials so inherently rooted in the space. They are certainly materials with history and, for the keen eyes, they can tell interesting stories. We focused the design of this project on using those materials to create a cohesive visual story combining tradition and modern lifestyle. it is the union of the past and the present to create an enjoyable future.
