Purposefully repurposing a fashion centre in Dusseldorf.⁠

This is the brand identity for the redevelopment of the former Haus Paris in Düsseldorf, Germany. The aim was to create a new brand and marketing strategy for the building the delivery of a new website and a wider marketing collateral reflective of the building’s refreshed image.

Düsseldorf is a city known for its majestic Rhine riverside promenade, its old town with hundreds of bars, restaurants and breweries and its precious boulevard “Königsallee”. While these are the common sights which visitors see, one might wonder what lies beyond them. There is a good number of trendy neighbourhoods existing in Dusseldorf. This new development, located  wants to make impactful changes to the existing building so they can attract occupiers and reduce vacancy.

The new brand is aiming to establish a long-term identity with permanence as opposed to short-term interventions and it wants to celebrate the existing architecture but creating a new/fresh image for the building. The visual communication is aimed to engage with a consciuous and creative community that, together with the building’s strong fashion heritage, it creates a hub facilitating a cluster for fashion related occupiers. The driving theme for this visual identity is based on the idea of IRIDESCENCE INTERFERENCE, acting as a takeover force, giving the building and its collaterals a much fresher look.
